Reason why i've labled this "Past Lives", is because my best friend and i over the years we've known each other have always and even considered the idea that somehow we knew each other in a past life, or even that were connected somehow through our heritage's cause of how close we are and how much we have in common.

The two we have that have me the most interested is Scottish and Irish, and i know so many of the legends and myths that BOTH countries have melted into there history.

I know it sounds weird and probably dumb, but has anyone considered the fact that perhaps either you knew your significant other or your best friend way back when?

Again, this all could be that i've been watching episode's of "So Weird" as well......but i would like to know your responses .

Not so weird, at all. Have you ever heard that many of us come into new incarnations with people we have known in other lives? Good books to read by Sylvia Browne, George Anderson, James Van Praugh, Marianne Michaels, Ruth Montgomery, Arthur Ford, John Edwards and Edgar Cayce. They will show you that you are not crazy.

I don't think it's dumb or crazy, either. I've come across that feeling in my own life, too. It is a weird feeling! Who knows?

I had this collegue at my last work, who totally believed in such things.

She did "travel back"-sessions and could actually heal people from fear of dark or height or even allergies, she could improve backpains and give out positive energy.
I know, I know that really sounds weird and crazy, but I felt this energy when she tried to help with a project at work I was rather desperate to do.
She also gave me stones for my cronic larygitis and they really helped. Before I was stocked with it for month and couldn't go over it without anitbiotics.

She told me that there might be a connections in almost everybody you know in this life, and the one you are connected with the most in postive way (like a boyfriend, or our bestie) and also your enemies (like a teacher who never likes you or a school bully).
In this way those "belivers" can also explain the good and bad in the world. Our soul wants to experience all emotions out there, being a murder and being murdered, fall in love, break a heart, being succesful, being dead broke...the soul needs everything to become complete.

Very true. A friend could have been a parent, or teacher, or spouse, or boss. We also come back in different forms; male, female, straight, gay, black, yellow, brown, white, different religions, handicapped, not, fat, thin, etc. That is why prejudice is stupid.

During coffee time she liked to chat about her former lifes. So even time is relative, so she already lifed in our so called future.

She has been a tree, several animals (often been a pig ) she also has been a fungus, one of her coolest lifes, as she said.

I think you really have to be open minded to don't think those people are total weirdos. But if you have bad backpain and no doc could help you, or allergies that no medication make go away, than looking into a session couldn't hurt people, do it?

That is the crux. The test of any knowledge is its usefulness - and I mean its usefulness to you. Does it make you happier or more able? by it, and with it, can you better achieve your goals?

Observe for yourself. Decide for yourself. And when you do, what will be your opinion of those who tried to discourage you from looking?

I am totally on board with you. I think there is far more to this life then we have any idea and I find myself really fascinated in spiritual ideas. I believe that we could have been someone else in a past life and that people who pass away are brought back to us in some form or another, whether it's a spirit or back in a new life brought to earth.
If you have a connection with a friend it's totally possible you new each other in a past life!

Nobody ever discouraged me when I said I kind of thing it helps...many, many people give you the "yeah, right!" look.

I always speak of past lives and reincarnation. Some think I am nuts, and that's okay, some are politely silent, and most agree. I find that more and more agree than they did in my earlier years.

Maybe because of more and more psychics who are in the forefront, nowadays.

I have read the books of many and been to readings, seminars, etc. There is too much out there that point to past lives and I think only fear, or true religious brainwashing is the reason why some do not believe.

It's nice to see i'm not alone or crazy, i've always wondered because of our shared loved for the paranormal and also our herritages.

This is stuff that I always felt, since I was a young girl. Of course, being brought up as a strict Catholic, it was hard to talk about it.
