Hi,
I don't think you can delete unless you are a premier member, however you can "lock" it that is when the line appears through the title.
If you go to your post and click on "options" in the bottom right of your post. This will take you to a new screen and the "lock" option is the second on the screen enter the reason that you wish to lock the post - in this case item sold.
hope this helps

You cannot delete a "for sale" item. You can lock an item. The for sale boards are set up so that the original poster can (and should) "lock" the item which prevents anyone else from responding to it.
There are two reasons for this. The owner of DDN intends DDN to be archival. He has a policy that once something is posted here it stays here with very rare exception. An example would be is something were to be triggering...might promote other to do an eating disorder, or an attack upon another member which only the moderators can remove after the initial two hours permitted for editing. This implies that you MUST be responsible to the items you post and think them through before you post them.
The other practical reason for locking a "for sale" item vice removing it is that sales often fall through. Payment is not received, the item is returned for a sizing problem, etc. The moderators can restore that item (e.g. unlock it) if they are asked and you then do not have to retype the whole item.
