Hi just getting ready to make an aboyne skirt and am wondering if I can use the salvage edge in my hem? I am still going to hem it up, but in other fabrics you can't use it cause it has no stretch or something like that. This is urgent cause we have a comp on Saturday, yes this Saturday!

Yes. I've never had any problems when using wool tartan. |

Yes you can - in fact in a proper kilt such as a mans kilt that is what they use as the hem - there is no turning up of it - a dance (or childs) kilt only has a hem to allow for growth. |
