Hey everyone. So last year I started really watching the Prix de Lausanne. I love watching all the competitors because they're all so talented. So my question is have you been keeping track with Prix de Lausanne and will you this year. I WILL!

One of the girls who used to attend our studio is competing! So we will be following her progress.

I started watching it last year so so far i have kept track:)
I cannot wait because I know one of the girls who will be competing and it is always really enjoyable.

I know the names of all the females representing the US. Wembley, who do you know that's going to compete?

I'm pulling for Joy Womack. When she lived in Texas before getting accepted to to the Kirov and the the Bolshoi, she trained locally at Austin School of Classical Ballet. She won the European Youth America Grand Prix and I hope she takes this one too!

Ms_A_Kitri, the dancer I know is Daniela Oddi, an Australian studying at the English National ballet school. She's a beautiful dancer, and such a hard worker!

I'm hoping Brooke Ray does well... she is the only New Zealander in it this year, a beautiful dancer and an even more beautiful person!!

I'm not following it though, I will just wait until the end and then find out the results

Where do you get to watch it? Usually I don't keep track but I definitely am going to this year!

I'd like to know this, too. I see that vidoes of the finals from 2011 are found at the www.prixdelausanne.org Website and that they'll be posted this year, too. (It looks like they will be broadcast online live, too, if you happen to be in the same time zone.) But that's only the finals. There's also information about the contest but I don't see any way to follow the whole thing for the whole week.

Thanks for the Facebook link. It has a lot more news and photos than the Website. No videos yet but, with the increasing capability for people to take videos with their phones, I'll bet there's videos rather than photos next year if not sooner.

The DDN software insists on breaking up that link; however it works if you simply highlight and copy the whole thing, then eliminate the " . . ."

Has anyone tried the app for the Prix? itunes.apple.com . . .
It might be good if you get all the videos straight onto your phone/ipad.
