Hello Highland people!

I have a quick question(s) for you all. I have a student wearing Red Dress MacGregor kilt. She's grown out of the red vest provided.

Questions: Would a black vest look ok with this outfit? Or would you put blue with it? Does anyone have a photo whether it be in a Highland outfit or a National outfit.

Hi, my daughter has the same kilt. I bought her velvet from a company from California. You can order swatches to see if they will match. The velvet is 100% cotton and is great to work with!! I have made a jacket and 3 vests from their velvet!! It hold up nice too. I personaly like the red with this tartan. Here is there web site

Are you going to OHDA? I can bring you my red vest. It might be too bright, but it could be a temporary solution until your student finds something better. I'm not planning to sell it at this point, but if it fits your dancer and looks good, I'd consider a long-term loan (I'd like it back when she outgrows it).

We're looking for used, and my student is only 8 or 9 years old. Thanks SeniorLady! She's not competing in Feb, but will be in the future! And I will be at the OHDA comp!

^ I thought your student was closer to 10 or 12 for some reason. I can bring the vest anyway, but it likely won't fit.

^ I've got a couple of students competing in Feb (Ages 7, 8, and 14), more in April!
