I posted this idea about a personalised dance planner wall poster in the main disco forum. I have listed it here to gauge how popular it would be and so you can see the layout.

Its a dance planner so you can put all the important dates on rather than having them hanging from a fridge magnet like me. lol

Planner contains:

1.Traditional calendar

2.Area to write comp dates and venue

3.Result section with stars to colour in - the result section
is inline with that comp and date so you can see where, when and where you were placed

4.other stuff section - write in other important stuff

5.Photo area for podium photos

6.Personalised with name

Also i can include a large photo of your dancer in the poster, dont worry if there is a background as we can cut it away from the dancer.

I have included 3 pics, 1 full length and 2 close ups of the sections.

Colours can be changed

would depend on the price but we'd buy one

perhaps you could do it in one colour for girls and another for boys as they are sometimes left out a bit but may be a purple and a blue one?

thanks for the replys, glad you like it.

I will post price as soon as i have spoke to a moderator to make sure i am not breaking any rules.

The size is not finalised yet as i am still playing with the layout as i may be doing 2 sizes. Standard size would be around a 1m and large size would be whats called a door poster which is around 1.5m so easily large enough to have a life size pic of your dancer subject to photo quality.

regarding the colours, you can pick any colour, text, and font you like as its really easy to change at my end.

Basically i would take your order details, name, text, colours, font and photo required and make a mock up jpeg for you to approve before you pay.

Also if you were to buy in June for instance, so that half the year is gone and would be unused i can do a rolling 12 month so that it would rune from june to june so you get a 12 month calendar.

Before i take any order and break any forum rules i need to speak to a forum moderator to see what is allowed as i think i need to be paying this and posting in the accessories forum..

I wish that someone had come up with something like this for Irish Dancers when my daughter was competing.

Perhaps there's another avenue for you to explore? I wonder if Highland dancers would like this sort of idea too...

slight change, the stars were a bit messy, so i have left the box empty so you can write your own result in and colour the box in.

you can create your own colour scheme, yellow for first, red for 2nd etc.
