Sorry for the poor quality picture - I was in the dressing room and taking the picture of myself

So these are the shoes and dress I'm wearing to my cousin's wedding in March in Ireland. The dress is actually a royal purple, NOT royal blue. The wedding is taking place at an abbey, so I got a black elbow-length satin shrug to go over it for the ceremony. Now all I need are the clutch and fascinator! I've looked around with the help of Jazzy, but nothing has been *perfect* yet.

The only requirements are that the fascinator be a clip (not a headband), be at least two of the colors (royal purple, black, champagne), and be more elegant than tweeney - I don't like huge ribbons or balls of puff on my head. And no mini top-hats. They scream "steam punk" to me. I'm looking to stay under $50 for each - clutch and fascinator.

I could wear dusky pink shoes instead of the gold. So if you find something perfect with dusky pink, that can work, too!

It's a shame it's purple. If it had been blue, peacock feathers would've been perfect. If you search "purple fascinator" on Etsy, you'll get over 3000 hits. It'll take a while to sift through, but I think it's worth it.

You still probably even have time for a custom made fascinator. Find a designer on Etsy or something like that that you like, and ask them for feathers/whatever that matches your dress and shoes. I did like this one shop.nordstrom.com . . . that martha posted. Is a comb ok? I might not be much help other than that because I really dislike the look of a large fascinator, I prefer a small/simple ones. Are you even the least bit crafty? They are so easy to make. I mean look at this one being sold for $30 www.etsy.com . . . you can get that flower at a craft store (or sew it yourself with some scrap fabric) and affix whatever stone you want in the middle. You could also just add some feathers around the outside. I like this one the best for your price range www.etsy.com . . . but you never know if you go to a craft store you might be able to find feathers like that with purple and pink in it.
