If your talking about the fluffy feathers, i leave it to soak in the sink in warm water then as soon as there rinsed and removed blow dry them on a warm setting, should fluff up lovely!!

Hey there

I wouldn't use warm water as the dye will come out of them, use cold water with some washing powder, spin in the washing machine (in a pillow case if they are on a stoned cozzie).

Ideally if you had a tumble dryer it would be better, 10 mins and hey presto instant fluff. Hair dryer does the same trick though.

Good luck

My daughter had a feathered starter costume, i used to soak it in a warm bath with travel watch and a handful of colour catchers. Colour catchers a must if lighter colours on cozzie.

once washed, lay on a towel to soak excess water, place on hanger and a cool blow dry with hair dryer. hope this helps :)

hair dryer i found the best and if they wernt dried immediatly they would start 2 stick together and then just look awfull...

and yes deffinatly colour catchers if its a light costume as its surprising how much colour comes out of them ... iv allways used hand temp water and a little bit of baby bubble bath
