What is the best software to use to slow down music for class? I do not want to spend big bucks, but want something that is super easy and good. Thanks for the help!

Just bought Tempo Magic Pro app for iPod and for some reason it lowered the volume of music I was playing on another playlist not in Tempo Magic Pro! I'm just guessing here but could that really happen? Please help! I had to delete the app in order to continue my class but i want to be able to use the app in my Abs class!

Audacity is a great program, it just took me a little while to get the hang of. It is 100% free though!

I use Vegas, which is super easy to use but I have no idea where I got it from. I do most music editing (including cuts, volume, and speed changes) on that.

Has anyone ever had the volume issues using Tempo Magic Pro on their iPod?

I've never had volume issues with Tempo Magic, but I just generally don't like the app because it doesn't let you scan through the song. Obviously a dance teacher didn't create it! It's too frustrating for me to use very often. Unless there's something I'm missing...if someone could tell me how to scan backwards and skip forwards, I would be a happy lady.

Thank you everyone for your replies. Hubby has Audacity on his computer but thought it would be too complicated for use on an iPod for a dance/exercise class!
