New highland jacket for sale. Made with 100% cotton velvet, fully interfaced, boned down the front, and has silver buttons and braid. Colour is bright red.

Finished measurements are:

bust - 32"
waist - 29"
hip - 33"
sleeve length - 25 1/2"
back length to point - 20 1/2"

I've been asked about the Dress Red Scott, but I don't have a sample of that one, so I can't say with 100% certainty.

This would fit a dancer with the following measurements:

bust - 29-30"
waist - 26-27"
hip - 30-31"

Depending on how fitted you'd like it to be.

I don't usually go by ages because dancers vary so much, and ages don't really help. If I were to guess an average, I would say 10-12 yrs.

There have been a couple of questions about the red tartans that this will match...I'm putting up a couple of photos that may give you a better idea of the shade.

One of the photos has different red tartans also in the picture, you may be able to compare. The dancer in the middle on stage is wearing the same red velvet...you can also see the red Scott on the left.

I've also sent a message to Marg in Calgary to confirm if the reds in her Longniddry are the same as the Scott...maybe we can get this question answered!

Just got the answer back from Marg in Calgary...she tells me that all the reds in her tartans are the same, so this velvet that is pictured with her Longniddry, will also go with her dress Red Scott.
