So I don't want my little 3 year old back stage for very long after they perform. What are some of the proses you guys use to have parents pick up kids after they do there dance. I have seen people do announcements and then they go in the back of the theater. What would you suggest? 1 Replies to Little Kid Pick Up |

I let them go to their parents right after they perform. The parents know they will be waiting in the back hallway after they come off the stage. They come and get them and then go back to sit in the auditorium. I try to put them in the middle of the show.
In the past, my baby audience would leave after they performed in the beginning of the show, then no one was left for the rest of the kids. So I moved them to the middle, and started doing an all-student closing dance. Now the majority of my audience sticks around so that they can watch their little one go on stage one more time. After the closing number, I give all the performers a ribbon. You have to stay if you want the ribbon, so yes, I bribe them. LOL! |
