i got this amazing letter statin i was getting a raise in my salary but when i got my wage slip it didnt match what was on the letter.. i phoned my boss n she said it was a mistake n im not getting it aaaargh xx

Does your company have an HR department? I would go to them. What country do you live in? I don't think they should be able to do this without telling you, and there may be some law or company policy in your favor. You probably only have a case for the one pay period, but sometimes that can be a significant amount of money. In the mean time, if you're working for someone who really doesn't care that they made a mistake like that and didn't bother to tell you until after the fact, I would start looking for other places of employment.

yes they have a hr department , i live in Scotland & i phoned the citizens advice bureau & they said theres nothing i can do , but i have expressed that im not a happy bunny , the thing is the letter was from the managing director so im going to email him & the hr department ... hey from a raise of £3500 down to £400 no wonder im fed up , thankyou for replying xx
