I am looking to get a solo dress made for me but dont know any reliable dressmakers. I live in Utah and would prefer not having to go too far. Ive heard of a Amy that makes dresses thats also a teacher but I dont have any contact information. Does anyone have hers or any other good dressmakers contact information?

Amy Stansfield is owner and a TC at Acadamh Rince (used to be Webber). I don't know if she makes dresses or not (not my school), but that is the only Amy I know of in Utah. Sorry I can't be more help, my daughter isn't quite to a solo dress yet.

not sure of any in Utah, but Sunshine Stitches is in Arizona, and they made wonderful dresses! Most people end up buying or getting dresses made from different states, unless you know someone in your school or town. Just an idea.

There's also buying secondhand. A lot of dresses have only been worn once or twice and are extremely current in trends and can be bought for a good price since everyone is so eager to sell.
