Can anyone tell me stretches to do for better chinstands? Or any tips at all? It can be tips on how to do it with straight legs or with bent legs it doesn't really matter I just need to know how to do chinstands in general. Is there anything you can think of that I should work on before I can do chin stands? Thanks for your help! 2 Replies to Tips on good chinstands? |

This is the Way I learnt mine.
Start with putting you elbowd in front of you when you go into them when you go into your chinstand. It gives you more balance.
Work on back stretches. Try bridges, seals, ect. The biggest part of a chinstand is strength, especially in your abs.
An online tutorial on the channel "fit for a feast" on youtube has alot of great tips.

Warm up your back and neck before you start. You definitely need a back bend before you can perform a chinstand. Back extensions also help tremendously. At first, it will be hard to keep your legs together in your chinstand, but eventually you will gain enough balance to hold them there. www.youtube.com . . . |
