Adult Dancers Looking to take some advanced classes NORTH of Boston :) en>fr fr>en By pinkyy994 Comments: 43, member since Wed Jul 20, 2005On Mon Feb 06, 2012 12:24 PM
Hi everyone,
I am looking to start getting back into dance at the ripe old age of 22. I was a dancer for most of my life, although in recent years while in college I haven't been taking classes as regularly as I would like. I am looking to find a studio where I can take some drop in classes that are a little bit more advanced than the typical "Adult" dance classes that most studios offer, which tend to be geared more towards the beginner.
I am about 30 minutes north of Boston. Does anyone on here know of any studios in the Southern NH or Northern MA area that offer classes like this? Thank you in advance for your help!! 2 Replies to Looking to take some advanced classes NORTH of Boston :) |

The Dance Works in North Andover MA offers different level adult classes for some genres.
The YMCA in Ipswich, Beverly or Peabody- cant remember which- is affiliated with the Boston Ballet and offers levels for adults. I did a satellite summer program with them several years ago and was very impressed.
Also google for and check with your local studio's- often times they'll allow you to come to advanced teen classes.
My studio is only offering Zumba for adults currently because our adult dance classes were too much of a revolving door. |
