Hi
can anyone tell me best way to wash dance costume, worried the stones will come off? good advice needed.

Usually I just use a cap full of Woolite in the sink, and wash and rinse by hand. Air dry!

I've had pretty good luck taking costumes to the dry cleaners, but you have to demand that they not use steam, it melts the sequins.

Get a lingerie bag (found at any grocery store in the detergent aisle), and it's almost always safe to wash them in a machine on the delicate cycle. And it's not strictly necessary to use woolite anymore since modern detergents are way less harsh than they used to be. Stones are usually fine using this method, but I always wash sequins by hand because they crimp very easily.
