North American dancers, I need your feedback. What do you think of Celtic Star? en>fr fr>en

I'm specifically asking North American dancers because Celtic Star is overseas and I want to know how fit worked out without having an acutal fitting and how they shipped, etc.

So I am getting a new dress for NANs and I really love the look of Celtic Star's dresses.

What has your experience been with them? Were they easy to deal with? Did you receive the dress when they said you would? How was the quality of the dress?

I've heard mixed reviews, so I want to make sure I have as much information as possible before ordering.

Thank you :)

I emailed them a few weeks ago and they are booked until August, they seemed helpful when I emailed.

Same here. I just emailed them asking if they were taking orders for NANs. I received the same response, they are booked until August. They require a 200 GBP deposit to secure a spot.

Good Luck!

Irish Lizzy, what types of mixed reviews have you heard? Would be interested to know as we have contacted them regarding a dress (wanted for NANS, but now maybe for Oireachtas).

I would be interested in receiving any feedback on dealings with Celtic Star. We also, have begun the process of ordering a dress from them. Any information would be appreciated.

Not exactly the answer...but.....if you are looking ahead for a dress---I'd "secure" a delivery date. Like booking ahead, that way if someone gets busy, booked up, not taking anymore orders, etc you will have a dress made when you need it. I did that for Maisey and it was a great way to do it. I paid a deposit in January regarding a dress for Oireachtas. This is just advice--please don't take it as anything but that.

Best of Luck !! Love to hear what you decide to do...

I know I am not from overseas but I do believe that Celtic Star are booked up till at least July/August. They are my favourite dressmakers.
