These are photos of my daughter's first solo dress we bought used. She's really happy with it but we both aren't fans of the back with the cape/swag. We're deciding between a bow or a lighter/smaller swag--not the triangle. Any thoughts on which to do and what material/colors to tie in? We have extra material of the blue velvet bodice and of the sleeves. She's 8 and at Novice level...Also, she will be wearing a natural/loose style bun wig and wants a headband that would do around the entire bun. She wants a bow on the side of it. I'd rather tie in the heart idea since I think it'd work better with the dress scheme. Would it be weird to put small hearts going all around the headband with a bow slightly off center? Any ideas on the size of the headband? I plan on making it and have read the sticky on how to do it but just need some thoughts on colors/ideas. Thanks so much!!!!
