Welcome audience, thank volunteers, parents, families, praise hard work of students,acknowledge amazing staff. Remind audience to silence phones and no photos or video taping is allowed during the performance ( they can do photos and video at dress rehearsal). Keep it short and sweet -audience is there to see their child perform not to hear me talk. I make announcements about summer classes, fall registration at dress rehearsal and list that information along with theater manners in the program. |
