Not quite sure where this fits, but I was just wondering if many competitions accept independent entries?
I've danced my whole life (I'm 18) but about a year and a half ago I quite dancing/competing with the studio I was at. The owner had changed and it was no longer a good fit for me.
I've still kept up with dance, workshops, technique classes, etc, and now feel like I am at the best place with dance than I've ever been. For next years competition season I would like to enter 1 or 2 solos that I've choreographed myself or a good friend of mine has choreographed for me, so I'm wondering if I would be able to enter a competition on my own instead of with a studio? Thanks!

Check the competition company rules. Some do accept independents, but not all.
