JLL's Bio

I have been teaching dance since 1973. I opened my own dance school in 1993. I no longer own it as of June 2007. I decided to retiring from owning. I live in Pennsylvania, not far from Allentown.<br />
<br />
I started dance at age 11 in a local ballet school. I won a full scholarship to the American Ballet Center School for the Joffrey Ballet at age 14.<br />
<br />
I fell in love with teaching very young. I did some professional dancing, but decided to pursue teaching, my first love (although I am a big ham, too).<br />
<br />
My own personal thoughts are, "Let Your Dreams Take Flight", meaning, do what it takes (within the law) to make your dreams come true and, always treat everyone else in the world just like you want to be treated.<br />
<br />
I am married since 1975 and have two kids born in 1980 and 1982. My daughter was teacing for me when I owned the school and my son was killed by a drunk driver, at age 23, in March of 2004.
<br>I became a grandmother (I'm Nana) in June of 2007 to beautiful Valya, my daughter's first child. She is the new love of my life and helps to fill my heart!
Also, life is too short, live it and worry only about loving everyone!!<br />
