balletowoman's Bio

I'm originally from France. I've started ballet when I was 5, and moved up from there, attending several schools in France, most of which are quite reputable (conservatory, major school).
After my A-level, I went on various trips abroad (I studied languages!) to Germany, Ireland and finally Scotland and the UK. In each of those countries, I continued to study ballet in several schools, and I finally made my dream come true by becoming a pro dancer at the NDTII company.
Several years later, I decided to be a ballet teacher and so I am now teaching to all levels in a pre-pro school in the UK.
I know the French technique having learnt it as a child and teenager, but I now teach the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus at all levels. I have my teaching certificate and a BA (Hons) in 'the teaching and technique of ballet'.
