ballettrainee's Bio

My name is ballettrainee. I am 14 and in the 9th grade. My life is dedicated to the beautiful art of dance. I take tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, modern, pointe, and pas de deux. I also love yoga, pilates, cheerleading, and gymnastics. I dance 40+ hours a week in the hopes of becoming a professional ballet dancer. My dream company is The American Ballet Theatre.

Dancing to me is a way to escape from the realities of the world, a way to forget what happened that day or that week, and melt into a pirouette or fly into a grand jete. To me, dance is my passion, my dream, my drive. There is nothing I would rather do than dance. When I get lifted in the air or pose in a graceful arabesque, I feel as though I'm on top of the world. Dance is my shelter, my rock. The ugly feet, sore limbs and no-junk-food limitations are all minor sacrifices in my opinion. Every second I dance I realize how lucky I am to be able to do it.

I also love to play soccer,ride my horse,Dandelion,play with my dog, Reba,and hang out with my friends whenever I can. You can find out who your real friends are by seeing who can last through a 3 hour ballet and congratulate you when you come out, one who will politely listen to you talk about your bad turning days and sore feet all day.

I hate meat loaf and people who think ballet is easy.
