Hello dear fellow balletomane!

As you can see, I am a seasoned veteran, not as a professional dancer per se, rather as an admirer of them.
I intended to be a ballet dancer, if my evil step-mother did not intervene, I would have been a darn good one too. Albeit, a very tall one.

I realized my childhood ambition, by starting ballet training at 38. (Yeah, you read that right.) I have been in training for 16 months, not even taking time off during the summer. (Someone should have warned me about the addictive qualities of dance…)
Thankfully, I have always been athletic, have a natural turn out (although I have a hell of a time sustaining it in certain positions), and I am quite flexible too, so most things come naturally. Of course I have to work hard at many-many elements of ballet technique, since I am a beginner after all.
My dream is to go on pointe. I've actually had a dream about getting my first pointe shoes…
