Hey I'm Candace, a small town girl brought up in a small town in Oregon. I began dancing as a little girl (like all professional dancers and fell in love with it! I created such a strong passion for it, that I decided it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life! Throughout high school and college, I received very good training and began teaching/coaching dance teams/classes when I was 18. Being around dance, and being a dance major in college, people told me I'd never amount to anything, and I'd never make a living off dancing. Being, that I was never the "BEST", I always had that fire in my belly to want to "be" the best! Also, under the direction of my fellow mentors, and having my family's support, I followed my dreams, and little by little, they started becoming true! I can now say... I've crossed a large milestone in the journey of my dancing! I am currently in my 4th year of dancing with the Sacramento Kings (NBA), as well as teaching full time at a studio that has helped me to understand the business so that I can own a studio in the future. I've been involved with tour groupes, theatrical performance pieces, and throughout all the dance venues I've experienced, they all have a common thread... my PASSION!!! I am, without a doubt, a performer! Nothing brings me greater fullfilment than being in front of an audience. I've diligently worked hard, to fight my way to this point... and it's only made me grown more hungry to accomplish more of my dancing. My goal is to dance for a company/tour groupe for the upcoming year of 2008-2009 overseas!!! I have been told by many that my energy that I emulate through my dancing is inspiring, and that this isn't the end of my journey. I truly believe I have the qualities to further my career in dance so that I can truly amount to the BEST that I can possibly be! I am not a quitter, nor a slacker... only a driven, ambitous, talented, well mannered, hard working, and honest individual that has a hunger to obtain MORE within my limits of dancing! Scratch that... I have NO Limits!!! There is no ceiling... only my endless amount of energy to give to what I whole-heartedly believe in... my gift, my passion... my talent... DANCE!!!
