Hey there! I'm dancefreak5622.(call me dancefreak or ballerina chickie) I've been dancing for about 9 years, starting at age 3. I guess I'd have to say that I'm the best of my agegroup. (Got en pointe first, get best rolls in shows, get all the solos, etc.)I never tell anyone this because it sounds so snotty, but somehow I thought that people can't know me unless they see how hard I work for dance and telling you that I'm the top of my agegroup kinda sums it up (I hope! please dont think I'm snotty because I said that...) Sometimes it can get annoying and embarrasing to always be the first to do everything in dance, but it's always nice to know that I can come to my friends here at DDN for advice! I go to a very nice dance studio with a whole team of wonderful, prestegious teachers. I am at the studio almost every day in the fall and winter, but in summer I take an intensive class which is two days a week but a total of 8 hours a week of dance!!! I take ballet (that's my main subject), charactor, modern, pointe, and I almost always am getting ready for a preformance! I've been in my studio's production of "The Magic Of The Nutcracker" for 3 years. I've played angel, (understudy) Soldier, and Mouse. My favorite was Mouse, probobly. Angel is the lowest part, but I dont mind. They stick me in that part along with another good one so that I can keep an eye on the little angels. I've also been in the end of year recitles since I was 3 (having solos the past 2 or 3 times) and The summer recitles (having solos the past 2 or 3 years also) So basicly I've had around 4 to 6 solos in my time... And I'm just gettin started! I love dance, and I'm very very passionate about it. I think that really shoes through my dancing and I'm proud of that.

I'm in all the highest classes possible at school, and get mostly all A's and 4.0 GPAs. I have wonderful friends at school. I don't really have a BEST friend because my former bff totally dumped me when I told her I didnt want to be popular with her. I'm better as a geek who transforms on nights and weekends to...BALLERINA CHICKIE! lol he he he he! I hang out with my close friends though, and my neighbor. My neighbor goes to school with me but he's not in any of my classes He's really nice and fun though!:D

I also horseback ride and have recently started shareboarding (half-owning) a horse at my barn! It's only for the summer though, so I'll be back fully commited to dance in the fall when the seimester starts all over.

In the future, I would really really really really LOVE to join a company as a pricipal dancer. It's totally my dream and I get through excruciatingly tough combonations thinking...c'mon c'mon...focus...ABT...Joffrey...gotta get there...

I would Idealy like to join ABT as a principal dancer. Joffrey is my close second choice, however. I've auditioned for the Joffrey's summer camp but didn't make it because they only took the older girls and I was the youngest that could be there. Still hope for next year!...

Something that you should know about me is that I'm very impatient and I'm only really happy if I have an "evil" plan. Usually these plans consist of making a tutu, or dying all my old pointe shoes and decorating them and covering my entire walls with them so my parents won't have to paint my room! I'm really thankful to have DDN. What would I do without it?!
