My name is Natalie and I've been performing for most of my life. I use to do gymnastics in elementary school and some of middle school. I decided it was not for me because I refused to do any flip stuff backwards, for I was afraid of breaking my neck. Although I must thank gymnastics because I have been able to do the splits all my life for the most part!

I started playing the Clarinet in elementary school. I played throughout middle school and sophomore year of high school. I switch to French Horn in my sophomore year of high school and I joined choir my senior year. I now minor in music in college.

In high school instead of playing an instrument in marching band I did color guard. My guard had no instructor, besides the music teacher, and we made are own routines. We only did street parade and no winter guard. I am now doing color guard for Sac State and only doing field shows...I miss parade...

When I started going to high school I did theatre tech because both my sisters were involved with theatre. Through theatre tech I learned I loved musicals. I then did both theatre tech and acting throughout high school and am now a Theatre Major!

It was through musicals that brought me to realize I love dancing! The reason I loved musicals so much was because of dancing... I love the music too, but I'm not a great singer and I am a much better dancer.

I finally discover Highland Dancing when I was 16 and went to Scotland with my family for a clan gathering. I never knew about it till then. I decided in my senior of high school I really wanted to do highland dancing for I love to dance and I love my heritage!

I started taking lessons when I was 19 and I am now Novice in Highland Dancing.
