dancinfootball's Bio

I received my B.S. in Theater with a emphasis in Dance Education and Administration several years ago. I began teaching when I was 16 and fell in love with it.

In college, I was a member of the college dance team as well as the Univeristy Rep. Company.

I taught for several studios in the Kansas City area and served as a freelance choreographer for several High School and Collegiate dance teams.

A couple years ago I moved south and worked a "day job" while teaching part-time at a studio. Last year I found a great studio close to my house that offered me a full-time position including becoming the director of the Performing Company.

Recently, my husband's job moved us back to KC. I am thrilled to be "home" and teaching again with bubbabug. We are in the process of setting up a freelance choreography company. In my free time, I am studying for my personal trainer's certification.

I love teaching and am always looking to further my education. I love dance.net! It is such a great resource and sounding board!
