Miss Amy is 19 years old and is a graduate of Francis Howell Central in St. Charles, Missouri. She attended Lindenwood University for one year on a dance scholarship where she was very involved in the dance program and was caste many top rolls in the dance concerts. But she decided to put her education on hold while she pursued her real passion, teaching.

Amy started her dance education at Dance Connection Performing Arts Center in St. Peters, MO where she was a competitive dancer for four years. Amy has a lot of experience at competitions and conventions across the US. She has won numerous top place awards and scholarships at the regional and national level. She has been taught by many choreographers from cities such as LA, New York, and Chicago. She has been taught by a wide variety of teachers which is where her style and inspiration comes through in her teaching techniques.

Amy was an assistant and student teacher at Dance Connection Performing Arts for two years and then became a master teacher for two years as well. She was involved with the competition team as well as the choreographer of a non-competitive performance team. Amy’s unique style of choreography has won many choreography awards at her student’s competitions and conventions.

Amy has now decided to further her teaching career by teaching and choreographing at Synergy Dance Center in St. Peters, Missouri where she is a very big part of the studio and the competition team. She has completed her first year there and is looking forward to what next year will bring!
