My name is Jeanette, I'm 26 and I'm a former dancer and teacher from Southeast Michigan. I started dance at age 9 with a jazz class. What started as a hobby, or extra curricular activity, quickly turned into a passion. I became a competitive dancer by age 12, and over the years have studied Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe and Hip Hop. I danced competitively until my late teens, and then recreationally again in my early 20's.

I assisted with classes through my teen years, and began teaching at age 20. I have taught competitive and recreational classes, mostly Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. My favorite classes to teach are pre-school-they light up my day. As of 2009 I am no longer teaching, but that hasn't stopped me from doing what I love everyday. I am constantly making up my own tap steps, I drive everyone nuts because my feet are always moving.

My life isn't all about dance though. I married my wonderful husband in June 2006. Together we have two cats and a dog, and are working on a family. I enjoy being outdoors, boating, fishing, golfing, bagg-o, Casino's, monster trucks, learning how to cook, watching Detroit Sports teams, playing softball, darts, bowling and spending time with my family and friends.

Oh, and I love DDN. It gets me through the work day.
