funkdude's Bio

Ever since I was tiny I loved to dance and sing. I would dance around the house and my cousin Cassie and I would make up little routines. Unfortunately, I didn't start dancing at a studio until I was 10. I wish now that I had started so much earlier, and that I had done classical too. Oh well, too late now. But continuing...

I did Jazz and Tap all the way through to now, which makes it 6 years of dancing. In the 4th year, I started dancing with another studio and that is when dance became my dream.

I started Contemporary and Classical this year too. Contemporary is now one of my favourite styles because I can put so much feeling into it. Classical is a bit drab, but I work as hard as I can because I know it will make me better.

Now, I plan to finish my VCE Dance, move on through my syllabus exams and then when i'm finished school, either get a teaching qualification (teaching Jazz, Tap and Contemporary) or work in the Commercial Dance World for a while. I'm excited!
