My name's Jessica. I'm 16 and currently a sophomore. I've been spinning since the end of my freshman year, and right now am preparing for try-outs in a few weeks for the 2009-2010 season! Sadly, my guard is small, four girls, due to the fact we have a small band and you can not try out till your sophomore year because our director wants everyone to have a year of marching experience. We do about nine shows a year and do a different routine to every song, no matter what! haha. we also do dances and short hoop & ribbon routines. My coach was a spinner at Kent State, and she also spun at my school during high school. yep, well that's about it.
