Hello, DDN! I'm kerplooey, and I'm 17 years old. I recently became a professional ballet (contemporary) dancer with a teensy company called Commedia Ballet Theatre. I used to dance hardxcore with (ballet/pointe, jazz, modern, composition) at a pre-professional school pretty much every day, but now I just take the composition class, which helps me develop my choreography. I've been in their Nutcracker (soldier, snow, chinese, spanish, waltz of the flowers) for 4 years. I've done ballet for almost 6 years (kind of a late starter at 11 yrs. old), and pointe for 4ish years. prior to that, i was a gymnast for 7 years, competing for 3. I was a yellow belt in tae-kwon-do for a month, and I was a cheerleader for a month before I started dance. I was a flier, and they dropped me on my head. My mom made me quit. I'm thankful every day

i'm a junior (11th grade) and I do well in school. I have a nice handful of friends (mostly crazy thespians). I took the SAT, and got the upper-end of average scores. I think I'll have to take it again.

I've been doing yoga for about a year now, and now I'm kind of a pretzel who likes to stand on her head.

I want to get a BFA in Dance Performance, with a minor in something useful. Like psychology

I have an amazingly wonderful boyfriend named Chris. He asked me out in 7th grade (when we were both 13), and our 4 year anniversary is on April 14th. Pretty crazy, no? We're somewhat of a slow moving couple (first hug at one month, first kiss at 6). We're sorta thinking about committing to virginity until marriage (which we hope to do after college), but we're so dang horny for each other, we'll just have to see. We're waiting until the pesky parents won't barge in. And until we're more responsible, of course. We're hopeless romantics pretending to be realists, which doesn't always work out. READ: hardly ever works out.
