I am an adult Irish Dancer. I have been dancing since 2005 through The Young School in Rochester, NY. My husband also dances, but doesn't feis except for 2 hands with me. We did go to Oireachtus in 2007 for a 4-hand, but just missed call-backs. In 2009 we placed 4th. I am currently in Novice in hardshoe and Open/PW in softshoe. I usually only compete in about 3 feiseanna a year but enjoy competing. It only took 3 YEARS of dancing to loose the PFS (pre-Feis syndrome) - mostly anyways!
