KU_Ballerina's Bio
I recently graduated from the University of Kansas with a BGS degree in Psychology with a concentration in dance. After having my first "real" job in the psych field, I decided that it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. So, now I am in the process of getting into an elementary education licensure program. That won't begin until Fall of 2008 so I am just gaining experience teaching until then and taking a few teaching courses at KU. I am working part time as a classroom assistant at a local child development center/pre-school, and teaching dance at my hometown studio. I teach ballet, tap, and creative movement. I also assist ballet, jazz, pointe, creative movement classes. So most of my time revolves around other people's children, which is fine because they are so cute! In my spare time, which there is hardly any.... I am a member of the church choir, and do various church related activities/committees.
