Hi! Professional Choreographer/Dancer/Teacher/Actor/Singer

I will be relocating to Chicago, IL in August 2008. Currently I am a dancer for two companies in Kansas City, MO. I am a dancer/choreographer for Reach, a Movement Collective. I will be performing and choreographing for the Kansas City Fringe Festival July 23-27. www.reachkc.org

I have been understudying and apprenticing with Kacico Dance since in February 2008. I performed in their Spring Dance Concert in Liberty, MO on Apr 26. kacicodance.org

I teach for two area studios. Currently I work with students age 3-17 in pre-dance, pre-acro, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop and I choreograph for our performance groups. I also have experience teaching modern dance.

I graduated with honors from Wichita State University in Dec 2006 with my BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. My choreography was selected to be performed at ACDFA. After graduation I relocated to Dublin, Ireland. While there I presented my choreography at Fusion Boutique, Radio City, Dublin 1. I also performed at the NBA with the Rob Dias Hip Hop Troupe in Tallacht, Dublin.

I have taught dance for Horsefeathers and Applesauce, Music Theatre for Young People, Wichita YMCA, Derby Community Center, Great Plains Theatre Festival, Aspire Dance Center and Katie's Dance Studio (Leavenworth, KS.) I love working with all ages, but oddly enough I find joy in working with two groups many find difficult: teenagers and pre-schoolers.

I have choreographed and/or performed for the Great Plains Theatre Festival, Abilene, KS; Music Theatre for Young People, Wichita, KS; Horsefeathers and Applesauce Dinner Theatre, Winfield KS; and several Wichita area high schools.

I have trained in New York at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance; San Francisco with Janice Garrett and Dancers; Ohio at the School for Mime Theatre; NY at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Kansas City MO with Kacico Dance.
