Live4Dance's Bio

I am a French Canadian living in the USA since 2004. I started ballet when I was 11 years old at l'Ecole de danse de Quebec. I stoped when I was 15 for different reasons. Then I went back to my passion when I started college and I have been living for dance since then. Moving was hard for my ballet instruction, I have always been in one school, with the same girls for years. I couldn't find pointe class for adults for a while...My injury (Achilles tendonitis) was too painful and I had to stop for many months.
I met my fiance, now husband in 2002 and started dancing Swing together. My goal was really to do competitive ballroom dancing so we went from school to school trying to find one that was teaching competitive style, we never did. We finally moved to the US, and found a school perfect for us. We are competing in International Latin Style since Feb 2005, we are now ready to move from syllabus to novice/pre-champ! I love to dance with my husband, he is the best partner ever and we have good reasons to go on trips very often because of our dancing.
Shortly after moving to the US, I found DDN. It helped so much to find a good school, to stay hopeful when I was injured...many other things!
