"In the beginning the Universe was created......This has made a LOT of people quite angry, and been widely regarded as a bad move."
~Douglas Adams

In pursuit of symmetry, therefore:

At the start of my life, I was born somewhere (Named Marc, a very subtle thing my user handle is here)-according to sources at some gawd-awful early hour of the morning to give birth at; I was rather young at the time to remember you see.

Since this event-hence called "being born" I've studied chem, philosophy, physics/astronomy (hard when your dad is a physicist/astronomer-believe me), politics, literature maths---I love studying them all...along the way I learned how to be a REAL big PITA.....gone to public school, private arts boarding school....liberal arts undergrad school....big uni for grad work.....done all manner of crazy things-and met lots of interesting peoples.

Oh ya'

And of course ballet (Duh!)

And a great deal of the violin (where my bachelor's is and where the master's and probably DMA is going to be in). Currently I'm in my Master's in violin performance-playing violin left and right-and griping round here with odd musicians travelers' tales.

I'm also a Certified Part-Time Serial Tourte Bow Killer, in the state of NY.

In person, I also love reading, introspection, and understanding myself and the world around me.... and off-color Beecham-esque remarks expressed through semi-obscure metaphor. I also tend to be a MASSIVE trouble maker, and have waaaaay too much fun for my own good. When not having said "too much fun" I can get stuck bored and darkly brooding-listening to all manner of great composers works at high volume.

In person, I almost always run The Show as a solo-sometimes it is hard, but in the long run it makes moving to new and better things easier: it also leaves me free to go and see and do as I want, quoth Violetta "Sempre Libera!....." (there's that obscure metaphor creeping in you see).

Off hours-I go and ride my road bike out on the roads in NowHere-unfortunately being in flatland-quasi-suburb there are few woods or lakes to enjoy, but lots of nice shaded bike paths and quiet places.

What else?

We all need chocolate:

AND Cawfee:

Which brings me to where I am now, typing a profile at a keyboard in Me Casa (apartment) that I share with my brother. Thus far though it all seems like a good move

Want to chat-drop me a line! Want to talk string instruments? Excellent!
