Hi

My name's obviously Michelle! but, most of my friends and that call me shell! And anyways, I really like dance! But that doesn't seem so weird here, if you tell some1 who you don't know, they look at you as if you'r silly or have no brain or what ever... anyways..

I'm a dance teacher at a high school in Far North Queensland in Australia! All that means is that I'm in the top pointy Eastern part of Australia! or for those who are a bit more geography savvy, I'm near Cairns on the Great Barrier Reef part of Australia! I live and teach in a small country school, but in days of yore I lived in the Big Smoke (Brisbane) - where I studied dance, and went to school and did my uni degree!

I've done ballet for about a million years or so, well 20, I've also studied Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, World Dance Styles, Slow Modern, and lots of other dance stuff!

I have a totally excellent job where I have great hours, great pay excellent holidays and great kids to work with! Who else gets to dance all day with such beautiful kids as i have here in an airconditioned studio in an excellent part of the country!

I love this site as it gives me a chance to chat to other dance bodies, young, old, teachers, those starting out or us old hacks, who have been around for a while now!

I love dance as it gives everybody, even those who reckon that they can't dance, the opportunity to be at one with yourself, express your emotions and feel beautiful all at the same time! how many sports give you that? (dance is not a sport - sport is evil!)

i always want everybody to stay groovy and be beautiful, cuz that's what i try to do everyday!
