PsyChyld's BioHello, thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Jose (Joe-Zay) F. Kozlowski Jr., and I'm part of this little (big) community for the support and friendship of fellow dancers. As a male (straight) dancer, starting late in life, it's hard to share my love for dance with anyone without being criticized.Example, was talking my old boss (a female, guys forget it, I don't even bother) about taking up ballroom dancing (I'm into Salsa, and Swing), because I have the experience in Salsa from a class I took in New Paltz, NY with an ex-girlfirend from Spain. I learned some technique in Salsa dancing, but my form needs work. Swing just looks like great fun. I joined a gym recently to get myself back into shape because winter took it's toll on my body's stamina (lift more weights, run less). Then out came that I was probably going to take up ballet to tone myself up, and build up my spirit for dance... "I definitely have to see The Nutcracker this year", I followed. *she laughed* "Jose, what!? You're weird.", she replied. After all that. I don't expect to be a guy in ballet forever, I just think it would help!? People see me as a "nice guy", strong physically (mentally is questionable,- kidding, I just don't want to have any regrets), I'm considered a people person, love to make people laugh, and happy. I'm about having high self-esteem, keeping the chin up, and having heart for what you do, in whatever it may be. Pointe dancers are my favourite to watch, I'm definitey a fan, and am up for a performance, a gala, even a practice, anytime. The talent behind a great (or good) ballerina astounds me... maybe I am weird, see what they've done to me!? Lol. Anyways, I don't want to share my whole life story here, just wanted to let you all in on my beginnings here, and in the dance world. I'll keep my profile updated as I progress in my dance desicions, first, it's to the gym for up to five more months. I've posted a couple more pics that I've recently taken, and I saluted (which failed, I'll try again soon)! I welcome PM's, they're fun (I don't mind sharing things other than dance, a casual 'how was your day' kind of PM is fine) so feel free to send me one if you'd like to know more. Take care and thanks again, I'll be posting! ~JFKozlowskiJr Friends of PsyChyld
