Reesienpointe's Bio

Hey everyone my name is Gillian and I LOVE to dance! I started when I was 5 and took a break after I turned 11 in order to devote my time to showing horses. I started dancing again right after I turned 17 and haven't stopped since! I now have almost 8 years of ballet under my belt and almost a year of pointe. I started lyrical a few weeks ago and love it love it love it! There may be some tap classes in my near future also.

Although ballet is still my fave, I'm looking forward to dancing in five, possibly six dances this June in our recital. (Last year I was only in two.) I love performing, and I love my ballet/lyrical teacher soooo much, she is the best in the world! And I'm so excited I'll be making my youtube debut this spring, our teacher is getting a digital camcorder and is going to record our rehearsals and post them! Yay !

About my life other than dance, I love animals, especially horses, I have two and I'm training one in dressage in the spring, the other in huntseat. I love my horses as much as I love to dance, they're my pride and joy.

As for sports, the only thing I'm good at that involves a ball is tennis, which I love.

I also love to act, and will probably pursue a career in film acting if I don't become a professional dancer. I completed a short film in L.A. over the summer (just a bit part) and it will be posted on the IMDB in a few months, so I'm excited about that. I'll hopefully be going to college next year in L.A., or else DePaul in Chicago. And I'm really excited about that too.

haha thanks! I'm pretty sure (not 100%) that I got it from iconator.com. I typed in the search box for "Harry Potter", changed the drop down menu to "Avatars" and it came up with LOADS of awesome avatars!
