Angela Wright Pineda, originally from Houston, Texas has been a dance educator/choreographer for 30 years. Her award winning choreography, and unique teaching techniques have placed her as one of the top tap instructors in the nation. Many of her students are currently with major dance & touring companies throughout the world. Angela’s professional credits include Resident Choreographer for 15 years with Starmakers of the Northwest (SMNW), a performer in the Broadway touring companies of Brigadoon, (Jean), and My Fair Lady (Chorus), & Gypsy (Electra). West Side Story (Anita) SMNW, Grease (Rizzo) SMNW, Bye Bye Birdie (Chorus) SMNW, The Bad Seed (Rhoda) Lon Morris College, The Glass Menagerie (Laura) Lon Morris College, Our Town (Emily) Lon Morris College. Angela was the Artistic Director/Choreographer for the National Championship Dance Team “The Rhythmasters” for 13 Years at her Lakewood Elite Performing Arts Academy; a full performing arts academy offering instruction in Dance, TV/Film/Stage Acting, and Vocal/instrumental music. She and her sisters have taught many of the young, hot stars in LA who originated from Houston, Texas. Angela trained with such greats as Henry LeTang (choreographer for the movie “TAP”), Gregory Hines, Buster Cooper, Ann Reinking, Utah Ground, Patsy Swayze & Tommy Tune, and many more. She is an honors member of Dance Educators of America and has judged many dance competitions all over the nation. She is the owner of Cakes Divine. She has had equal success as a culinary artist. Her baking tips and recipes have been published in “Cooking Pleasures” Magazine
