sakura's Bio

I was in creative movement class as a toddler but my mum took me out. I grew up thinking of myself as a non-dancer though I dabbled in traditional Japanese dance for a while. I also tried flamenco because I was trained in classical guitar-playing. I started ballet from scratch in late March 2005.Now, I try to take as many ballet classes per week as $$ and my schedule allows.

Dances I have taken classes for in the past:
1. ballet
2. traditional Japanese dance/Bon-odori
3. flamenco
4. Argentine tango (taster class only!)
5 salsa

As you can see, I'm Jill of all dances and mistress of none but I'm the most consistent with ballet.

Dance goals for the future:
1.basic ballroom (saving it for my old age)(Waltz and Viennese waltz)
2.competent salsa dancer
3.bellydance
4.restart flamenco
5.try jazz/modern
6.pass RAD Intermediate

I am overweight, old and inflexible but I stumble on....
