SDPDance's Bio

Well, I have the classic dancer story of having "danced since I was three years old!" By the time I was 7 or 8, I was at the studio 6 days a week. All in all, I did, tap, ballet, jazz, tumbling, twirling, modeling, and at age 11, added pointe. I hated everything else. I was such a "girlie girl" and could not hang with the boys to play baseball, even though my dad coached my brother for years.
When I was a teenager, I started running, with my dad, he is a triathlete, and I like that too.
I went to Sam Houston State, in Huntsville, TX, as a dance major. I now have a family, hubby & two daughters. They are the joys of my life.
I opened my dance studio in August of '05, giving up a very cushy, never worry about money job to do it. Now I am broke, and so, so happy. Much happier than driving 62 miles a days to work. Its amazing how life is.
Anyway, I just have fun, enjoy life, and dance as much as I can.
