Semi_Stretchy's Bio

I'm Melissa, i'm 20 years old. I live in Humble Texas(it's near houston).Just started contortion in september of 02' I've studied the body mechanics of stretching and flexibility training methods for about 9 years. My mother taught tap, jazz, ballet, modern dance, and gymnastics for 9 years, so i started studying with her. I had never done any backbending until recently when i discovered contortion,lol! I've simply applied the knowledge of body mechanics and stretching methods to my backbend training. Since i'm in the u.s. , contortion is not very popular at all, so i have been training on my own. Once i am better, i hope to expose the beautiful art to people in the u.s.
