ShufflinShaz's Bio
I started dancing when I was 2 years of age. I have been dancing for 20 years and teaching for 8 years. I have danced with 2 studios over the 20 years, rehearsing for exam work, participating in competitions (both in troupes and solo) and performing in productions. I have danced in many professional productions and worked with well known companies and personalities including Sega World, Sydney Dance Company, Rhonda Burchmore, David Atkins and Todd McKenny to name a few. In 2000 I participated in the Olympics opening ceremony in the tap number "Eternity" choreographed by Dean Perry. I have choreographed for many shows, both amateur and professional and also performed in many of these shows. In total, I have instructed dancing at 4 privately owned sudios. I have taught students of all ages and ability levels. Styles I have taught include tap, jazz, ballet (including pointe), contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, booty dancing, pilates, aerobics, hip hop and cheerleading.
