My name is Courtney. I'm 20 years old, and a Kiwi.

I'm a Christian. I screw up a lot, and I find comfort in the fact that I will never be forsaken.

I'm quiet, and a little shy. I'm not one of those people who stays in the background, I certianly don't lack confidence. I'm just not very loud.

You know Summer camps? Like those movies you watched, or that place you went to as a kid, or where you go sometimes as a counsellor? I work at one of them, full time. It is the most beautiful place in the world. My home has a hydroslide, a cold water slide with a jump that throws you about a metre into the air, kayaks, a swimming pool with water from a deep spring, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I can pretty much use whenever I want. My boyfriend lives two doors down from me and I've made some of the most awesome friends. My main job is to work with the kids who have become Christians at the camp through out the year, sending them Bible studies and supporting them and what not. I'm also involved in the planning of camps. I love it.

Children mean more to me then living another day. I'm thinking that I want to be a childrens' counsellor. I go into battle for them, particularly those who are being exploited. There's nothing in the world that is more important to me then that each and every child knows they are loved. "A hundred years from now, it won't matter how much money I had, what kind of house I owned, or what my job was, but that the world is a better place because I was important in the life of a child." I've been dancing for 14 years. I started off with jazz, and added lyrical, hip hop, tap, ballet and comtemporary along the way. I had a real tough year last year with dancing, so I'm not dancing anywhere near as much as I used to. I started ballroom this year, which I absolutely love. I'm actually pretty good, if I may so say myself, lol. My boyfriend has been dancing competitively on and off since he was 8, and he is exceptional.

My boyfriend is amazing. He does a lot of work with children too, which is actually how I met him. As mentioned above, he works with me, but he's on the property team (I'm on the ministry team). He wants to be a paramedic or a police man (he can't quite decide which). I think he'll end up working with troubled youth. He's strong and hardworking, and a little bit silly sometimes.

I love to write. It's like it's not actually me writing, but something much more powerful writing through me. Sometimes I'll read something I wrote, and completely question where it came from. It certainly doesn't come from me. I'd love to be a published novelist someday.

I didn't want to leave! I loved the weather, it wasn't cold, but it was winter! How does that even happen?!?!?! I had a great holiday, it's all in my diary, including loads of pictures! I think it starts on like, page 3.
