Just started back at dancing after a six years break!

Going to classes at the amazing URBAN DANCE COMPANY!! its run by the fabulous Penny and Louise, and I'm so glad that I'm being taught by them again! everyone has been really nice to me and the dancers are all AMAZING!!!!

I really wnated to do comps again but wont be able to now as I have some serious issues with my knees. I'll keep doing it for fun though!


So, A bit about me then.......

This is me on my 21st birthday, with a few of my friends. The lights were a present off my flatmates. they were awesome. not sure where they are now?

my real name is Mandi, I'm 24 (still only feel 16 at times tho!)

I spent last summer working out in france as a manager for a camping company. it was immense and I really wnat to do it again sometime soon. I love France and I can see myself living there in the future.

at the moment, im back in the UK, I moved into a house in Worcester for a while. But I'm currently at my parents in Bromsgrove and I'll probably be here for a while.

I left my job earlier this year for reasons I'd rather not go into. I'm back at university now. I'm studying social Work at Worcester uni. This is my second attempt at uni so hopefully this one will go a bit better!

My life mainly revolves around studying and dance at the moment.although my body doesn't like me dancing again I'm trying to do the best I can. I'm thinking of trying some new forms of dance in the coming year or so.

I Became an aunt for the first time last july, he's called finlay jack and he's amazing! I love him more everyday! He lives in Abu dhabi now, so I haven't seen him for a while. I miss him more than I've ever missed anyone.

I also have another nephew on the way, he is due in Decemeber and I cant wait to meet him.

This is my dance history -

I started dancing when I was six (competitions at Seven).

I did freestyle disco (solos, pairs, teams), slow, street, rocknroll, ballroom, latin and the lambaba (once n dont ask!)


I stopped dancin when I was seventeen because i hurt my back. however if theres music on i will dance (sometimes ill dance even wen there isn't any music!!) never go shopping with me, I'll just dance around the store!

In fact I danced my way through last summer! BOM BOM BOM!! if you love singing and dancing, work for a camping company! hahahaha! we even performed the YMCA and grease on stage for the customers!


I'm pretty hyper most of the time and love trying new things!Its taken me a long time to get to where I am, and be happy within myself.I've had depression for several years, I've self harmed, I've had issues with drugs and alcohol (now I can drink responsibly, and im very proud of that fact!) I've had issues with food, issues with myself and my parents (who hasn't??) I still have bad days, but im getting there! I really do feel more comfortable with whats in my head and what I see in the mirror.

Last year I was diagnosed as having ME/CFS. I'm slowly learning to deal with it and my life has altered so much since then. but I know there are worse things that I could have!

Hey hun, thank you very much! Yes that is me, it was taken at a line dance competition in Paris on the 5th July - I'm really pleased with the picture, most action shots of me look bizarre! lol xx
