Hi there! My name is Afnan, but you can also call me Aim, Affy or Anne. LOL I'm 17 years old and I live in the Philippines.

I love dancing so much, especially ballet! I've been dancing ballet for 3 years. Despite being a late starter, I'm happy to say that I'm in a level where dancers have been dancing for 5 years or more. I'm really thankful for that because I'm really working hard to become better everyday!

Now that I'm in college, I'm trying to work even harder - and even better because I can only take one ballet class a week now. It's driving me mad! But, I can't do anything about it because the campus is far away from the studio. I hate it! So now, all I can do is give my very best during class and practice in the dorm when I'm free.

I got my first pair of pointe shoes 6 or 7 months after I started ballet and now I'm trying to improve dancing en pointe. I've been on pointe for about a year and a half more or less. (Sadly, I take only few pointe classes.) I want so much to be really good! Determination and Passion go together.

Aside from ballet, I also do jazz dance and hip hop. Someday, I'd like to do tap, too...and maybe even tango!

I admire a lot of ballerinas. Iana Salenko, Polina Semionova, Darcey Bussell, Gillian Murphy, and Diana Vishneva are my favorites.

We'll be having a fund-raising concert (in ballet, jazz dance and hip hop) for kids who have cancer. I hope it goes well because I'd really like to help them. It feels good that we can help them through the talents God blessed us with. God bless them! <3
