Heyy, My name's Anna, I'm 14 and I'm a disco freestyle dancer of nearly 6 years. I dance at Charlotte Crickmore's School of Dance, which is a rather small school but means everyone in the school is really good friends.
I have been competing for about 5 years, when I was an U10. I am now an U16 and have been a starter for about a year now.
My dance partner, as well as my nearest and dearest, and I have eventually just lost our last life and moved up to Intermediates after 5 years dancing together. We lost our last life on 23/01/11.
I compete at competitions once a month with my schools team who have only been big enough to compete for around 6 months now so we're still only wee beginners.
I also share many interests with my sister, fortunately though we get along very well. She's two years younger than me and is also a starter but due to a recent partner change is only a beginner for pairs although they only have one more life to loose.
I also do exams and am currently on a Silver award. As well, recently, I have partaken in Cheerleading which I attend to twice a week. Although competitions are far less regular and therefore I continue to spend the majority of my time Disco Dancing. I do variations of dance at my secondary school too; Jazz, Contemporary, Street, Rock and Roll etc. but Freestyle is my passion, I love it x
